Our Cranberex® is independently tested with the preferred method for Cranberry PACs (BL-DMAC) and is standardized to contain a minimum of 36mg PAC in every capsule. When stored in a dark, cool place away from direct sunlight the product has a shelf life of over 2 years.

Yes, the PACs in Cranberex® are the A-TYPE soluble PACs found in cranberries that are clinically proven to be effective with anti-adhesion activity and the prevention and treatment of UTIs. Our product is one of a very few that contains them in the guaranteed dosing. It has been confirmed that Cranberex® has the highest AAA from soluble PACs in the 36 PAC cranberry space. We lead the competition in this area. Our PACs are substantiated by in-house and 3rd party testing using the BL-DMAC/A2 preferred method which is the gold standard in detecting true levels of the appropriate bioactive PAC content in cranberries.

Researchers have identified soluble A-type linkages in PACs as an important inhibitor of the adhesion of P-fimbriated uropathogenic bacterium (primarily E. coli) to uroepithelial cells, establishing bacterial anti-adhesion activity as the evidence-based mechanism of action.3,4 A dose-dependent, randomized, double-blind study determined that a minimum of 36 mg of the soluble A-type PAC is required to promote bacterial anti-adhesion activity and contribute to UTI prevention.

Cranberex® can be taken with food or without, ideally at at even intervals. So if you take it at 8AM and 6PM, do this schedule each day. If you have a history of recurrent UTI’s, you should take Cranberex twice a day to start. Once in the morning and once in the evening at the same times each day. This allows for a thorough flushing of the urinary tract. If you only get UTIs occasionally then once a day at the same time every day. Remember the urologist recommendation that if you start to get any symptoms of a UTI, you immediately take 2 capsules and continue with this protocol until the symptoms are gone. If you ever have a UTI and symptoms are not improving, contact your doctor.

Absolutely. Cranberex® can be added to smoothies, yogurt, applesauce. You can even open the capsule and simply empty the contents into a glass of water. The product is very concentrated and does not contain any sugar so it is tart – but still palatable like unsweetened black tea. Cranberex® is water soluble and dissolves easily. We have a lot of customers that add monkfruit, stevia, xylitol, or maple syrup sweeteners to make a low or no sugar drink. The powder is a beautiful dark red so when you add it to liquid just be careful not to get any on your clothing 😊
